Returning your Purchase for Change of Mind Reasons
- Please click HERE to book your return via our Returns Portal or via the button below within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Returns within Australia: Approved returns will receive an email notification prompting payment for an Australia Post returns label- once payment is complete, a label will be emailed to you.
International Returns: Approved returns will receive an email notification, from there please post your item/s via the registered/ trackable shipping company of your choice to:
CALIBRE Web Returns, 29-31 Simmons St, South Yarra, VIC 3141, Australia
- Please pack the item/s you wish to Return/Exchange in a suitable postage bag or box
- Once your return is received at our warehouse, your refund, exchange, or gift voucher will be processed within 5-9 working days, and you will be notified via email.
Christmas Returns Policy 2024
We’ve extended our returns policy for the holiday season.
- Extended Return Window: Any items purchased online or in-store between 1 December 2024 and 22 December 2024 can be returned up until Sunday, 19 January 2025.
- Return Conditions: All returns must comply with our standard return conditions, including proof of purchase and the item being in its original, unused condition with tags attached.
Outside of the extended Christmas returns period, our usual 14-day return policy applies.
Returns policy – change of mind
The following conditions apply when returning or exchanging your CALIBRE online purchase, for change of mind reasons. If your item is defective or misdescribed, please see the “Defective/ Misdescribed Items” section instead:
Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in their original condition and not washed, worn, or altered. Damaged, worn, or altered returns will not be accepted and will be delivered back to sender. Online purchases can be returned to our CALIBRE Retail Stores (not including David Jones concessions). Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we will not accept exchanges or refunds on earrings or socks (except if faulty/defective).
All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without a box, in a damaged box or with marked soles may not be accepted and may be sent back to you.
Merchandise must have all CALIBRE swing tags still attached. You will be responsible for the shipping and handling charges for the return to CALIBRE. Returns/Exchanges must be prepaid and returned by a traceable method. CALIBRE recommends utilising registered mail when returning purchases. CALIBRE is not liable for the loss of garments being returned.
For exchanges, CALIBRE will re-send your exchanged item to you free of shipping and handling charges. (Excluding international duties, taxes, and fees)
**Where a refund is required, please allow two weeks from the time you return your package for the refund to be credited to your account. If choosing an exchange, please note your exchange request is not always guaranteed. If your requested item becomes out of stock at the time of processing, a member of our team will contact you via email with more information.
** Please note: Shipping fees for overseas does not include possible taxes and duties which may be applied by customs in the country where delivery is to be made. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with you. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a ‘gift’, even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient.

Returning defective / misdescribed items
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation and other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
CALIBRE will accept a return where a product is “Defective” in that it:
- is faulty, unsafe, contains a defect, or is not of acceptable quality, appearance or finish;
- is not fit for its intended purpose; or
- does not match the product image or our description.
The above does not apply if you have caused the product to be Defective, for example by mistreating it.
If you believe that a product is Defective contact us at customercare@calibre.com.au, including, if applicable, and explanation of why you think it is Defective and images showing the defect, CALIBRE may require proof of purchase. CALIBRE will then provide further directions for returning the product.
Returns for reasons that a product is Defective must be requested within a reasonable time after having purchased the product or discovering the defect. What is a reasonable time may vary depending on the circumstances, the nature of the product, the length of time you have had it and the way in which you believe it to be Defective.
Where a product is found to be Defective, CALIBRE will provide you with an exchange, repair, credit note or refund, at your election. Refunds will be provided using your original payment method.
CALIBRE will cover the costs of packaging and postage for returning a Defective product, however if we assess it and reasonably consider that the product is not Defective, you may be liable for any return delivery costs.
Except if otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law CALIBRE limits its liability for any breach of a non-excludable guarantee to the remedies provided in this section of our policy.
